It's just another Rotten Monday to start the work week as rehearsals begin today, Monday, February 9, for the completely original new musical comedy Something Rotten!, directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner Casey Nicholaw (The Book of Mormon, Aladdin), with music and lyrics by Grammy Award winner Wayne Kirkpatrick and Golden Globe Award nominee Karey Kirkpatrick and a book by Karey Kirkpatrick and best-selling author John O'Farrell.

Producer Kevin McCollum just announced that celebrated Broadway musical theater favorites, Tony Award nominee John Cariani (Fiddler on the Roof), Heidi Blickenstaff ([title of show]), Tony Award® nominee Brad Oscar (The Producers), Kate Reinders (Wicked), Tony Award® nominee Brooks Ashmanskas (Martin Short: Fame Becomes Me), Peter Bartlett(Cinderella), Gerry Vichi (The Drowsy Chaperone) and Michael James Scott (The Book of Mormon) will join Tony Award nominee Brian d'Arcy James (Shrek) and Tony Award winnerChristian Borle (Peter and the Starcatcher) to round out the 30 member cast of the completely original new musical comedy Something Rotten!, directed and choreographed by Tony Award® winner Casey Nicholaw (The Book of Mormon, Aladdin), with music and lyrics by Grammy Award® winner Wayne Kirkpatrick and Golden Globe Award® nominee Karey Kirkpatrick and a book by Karey Kirkpatrick and best-selling author John O'Farrell.

A slew of plays and musicals will open on Broadway in Spring 2015, but where there is good news, there is also sad. Ever wonder what it would be like to hang out with Cinderella? Well, with CHIDEO you do not need a glass slipper for this wish to come true! Starting today, fans have a chance to see CINDERELLA on Broadway and meet Cinderella herself, star Keke Palmer.

Keke Palmer, Sherri Shepherd and Judy Kaye join Douglas Carter Beane's political activist musical based on the Rodgers and Hammerstein television classic.

Currently appearing in Cinderella are Keke Palmer in the title role, Joe Carroll as Prince Topher, Sherri Shepherd as Madame (until Nov. 23) , Judy Kaye as the Fairy Godmother, Ann Harada as stepsister Charlotte, Stephanie Gibson as stepsister Gabrielle, Peter Bartlett as Sebastian, Prince Topher's mentor and Lord Chancellor, Todd Buonopane as the rebel Jean-Michel and Phumzile Sojola as Lord Pinkleton.

Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman's Pulitzer Prize-winning play YOU CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU just opened last night, September 28, 2014, at the Longacre Theatre (220 West 48th Street), after 32 previews. The production is directed by six-time Tony Award-nominee and Drama Desk Award winnerScott Ellis (The Mystery of Edwin Drood, Twelve Angry Men, 1776) and will play a 19-week limited engagement. Academy Award® nominee Lesley Ann Warren - who was all of 18 years old when CBS-TV selected her as its CINDERELLA for the famed 1965 telecast of Rodgers + Hammerstein's CINDERELLA - joined the cast of the current Broadway company on stage to perform a number from the musical at the conclusion of the September 23rd performance. Miss Warren's CINDERELLA was such a success for CBS that the musical aired once each year for 8 years until 1974. Miss Warren's appearance coincides with the 50th anniversary release of the telecast.
