Unearthed after more than forty years and unheard since their original airing, the recordings of Village Voice "Scenes" columnist and radio personality Howard Smith are now available for the first time. Containing over 100 interviews, The Smith Tapes will be released in monthly installments on digital retailers iTunes and Amazon. Collection #1: Fillmore East was released on November 20 with Collection #2: Aquarian Theater due December 18. The latest collection contains interviews with John Lennon and Yoko Ono, Dennis Hopper and Peter Fonda, Jim Morrison, Arlo Guthrie, James Rado and Gerome Ragni and Dick Gregory. The Who, one of rock's legendary and defining bands, have announced a major North American arena tour to include a performance at Joe Louis Arena tonight, November 24 at 7:30 p.m. where they'll perform their iconic 1973 double album Quadrophenia in its entirety, along with a selection of Who classics.

THE WHO , one of rock's legendary and defining bands, have announced VINTAGE TROUBLE as the support act for the first leg of their major North American arena tour running from November 1 to December 9, where they'll perform all of their iconic 1973 double album QUADROPHENIA, along with a selection of WHO classics. The critically acclaimed QUADROPHENIA marked the British band's second rock opera (after Tommy), raised the bar for rock albums as an art form and hit #2 on the U.S. Billboard album chart.
