The schedule for this summer's Lincoln Center Out of Doors festival, which runs from July 20 to August 10, was announced today by Bill Bragin, Lincoln Center's Director of Public Programming. This Sunday, May 4, 2014, two programs on WFUV (90.7 FM/wfuv.org), Sunday Breakfast and Woody's Children, will honor the memory of Pete Seeger, the day after the folk music legend and activist would have turned 95. Seeger, who wrote or co-wrote classics such as “If I Had a Hammer,” “Turn, Turn, Turn,” and “Where Have All the Flowers Gone,” died on January 27th of this year, just six months after the death of Toshi, his beloved wife of nearly 70 years.
