The Divine Miss M herself, Bette Midler, will join Kelly as her guest co-host on 'LIVE! with Regis and Kelly' tomorrow, Friday, July 31. The Eugene and Elinor Friend Center for the Arts at the Jewish Community Center of San Francisco (JCCSF) today announced details of its Performing Arts programming for 2009/10. With an eclectic mix of dance, music, comedy, and innovative artistic expression, the program is designed to transcend social, political and religious differences, and connect to the vital multicultural fabric of the Bay Area community.

Jazz at The Jungle! 'The Songwriter Series' Part 1 will star Connie Evingson on Saturday, September 20 with two shows. The early show will take place from 4:30-6:30 and the evening show will be held 7:30-9:00. Evingson will be performing songs by Peggy Lee and The Beatles.

The Prince Music Theater will offer a full 2009-2010 season of original productions, Morgans Cabaret, co-productions, plus performances, film festivals, and film programs by resident companies from September of 09 - July 2010. Program details will be announced in the next few weeks.

To commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of Johnny Mercer, master of the American song, 'A Centennial Celebration of Johnny Mercer' (June 24 to 27) will launch the 2009 Summer Music Theatre Festival at the Theatre and Interpretation Center at Northwestern University.

Company XIV, a Black Book Magazine ?Icon Of The Future', proudly presents the World Premiere of the sensual, sumptuous and spectacular Le Serpent Rouge, a dance-theater satire conceived, directed and choreographed by Austin McCormick, with adapted text by Austin McCormick. Le Serpent Rouge will run May 15th to June 6th, 2009 in a limited 4-week engagement at the company's home space at 303 Bond St. (between Union & Sackett) in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn. JUDY CARMICHAEL, the internationally-acclaimed Grammy Award nominated stride pianist, radio host and author called 'a major figure in keyboard jazz performance' by the San Francisco Examiner, will release her new CD 'Come And Get It' on April 14. The disc, which marks her debut as a vocalist, will be available on iTunes, Amazon.com and her website JudyCarmichael.com. After upcoming CD release celebrations in London, Switzerland and Australia, she will mark the program's New York debut with an exclusive concert at Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola at Jazz at Lincoln Center on April 13.
