Executive Producer Lou Spisto today announced a month-long series of events celebrating the opening of The Old Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center. The Theatre Center incorporates the flagship Old Globe Theatre and a newly-constructed four-level facility housing the Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre, Karen and Donald Cohn Education Center, Hattox Hall, Erna and Andrew Viterbi Lobby, Lady Carolyn's Pub and Donald and Darlene Shiley Terrace.

The versatile and accomplished Actress, Singer and Songwriter Katey Sagal will be featured for the first time in the Orange County Performing Arts Center's popular Cabaret Series December 10 - 13 in Samueli Theater at Segerstrom Center for the Arts. Though you may know her as Peg Bundy, Sagal considers singing her first love and began her career as a back- up singer for Bette Midler, Bob Dylan and KISS before gaining fame as one of TV's most popular comediennes (8 Simple Rules and Married with Children). Never one to shy away from the spotlight, she returns to the stage for a sassy, brassy and brilliant evening of inspired song and laughter.

Real-life married couple Paige Davis and Patrick Page will star in a special engagement of I Do! I Do!, the classic Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt musical based on The Fourposter by Jan de Hartog, in The Old Globe's new Sheryl and Harvey White Theatre. The well-loved classic, by the creators of The Fantasticks, spans five decades in the life of a married couple - from the nervousness of their wedding day to the wisdom of old age. I Do! I Do! will run Dec. 11 - 20, 2009. Previews take place on Dec. 11 at 8:00 p.m. and Dec. 12 at 2:00 p.m. Opening night is Saturday, Dec. 12 at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are currently on sale to subscribers only. Variety reports today that screen sirens Salma Hayek and Jessica Biel, along with Broadway stars Matthew Morrison and Paulo Szot starring in a private industry reading last weekend of 'Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown,' now in development by Lincoln Center Theatre.
