Matilda the Musical, produced by the RSC and running at the Cambridge Theatre, leads the way with ten nominations - the maximum number of eligible awards for a musical this year. These notably include a collective nomination for Best Actress for all four young actresses who play the title role. Amongst other musical theatre productions Ghost The Musical at the Piccadilly Theatre and the National Theatre's London Road have five and four nominations respectively.

Anna Netrebko will make her Met role debut as the tragic heroine of Massenet's Manonin a new production directed by Laurent Pelly. Met Principal Conductor Fabio Luisi will conduct the opera for the first time at the Met, and Piotr Beczala makes his role debut as the ardent Chevalier des Grieux.

This Thursday, Cast Party will move down the block from Birdland for a repeat engagement at Town Hall. We caught up with creator and host Jim Caruso to talk about the show and the event.

Paulo Szot brought his Carlyle show, which played a three-week engagement in January, to the Palm Beach Colony Hotel's Royal Room from February 7 through February 18. Billy Strich was back as the show's musical director. Check out photos from the Palm Beach engagement below!
