Fictional characters like Joe Carroll and Hannibal Lecter may be killing it with viewers on the broadcast networks, but at Investigation Discovery, it's the real-life serial killers that get viewers' blood boiling. In DARK MINDS, non-fiction crime author M. William Phelps and criminal profiler John Kelly revisit unsolved homicides believed to be the work of serial killers. The two investigators enlist a real, convicted serial killer who helps formulate theories about the motives and drive behind the monster responsible. Revisiting additional unsolved homicide cases, the third season of DARK MINDS will start filming at the end of this month and is set to premiere on Investigation Discovery in 2Q, 2014.
