Lyric Hammersmith Announces Autumn-Winter Season

After a year of critically acclaimed, box office breaking and award-winning shows, including aWest End transfer Artistic Director Sean Holmes announces the 2010/2011 Autumn Winter season for the Lyric Hammersmith.

SISTERS Closes 27 March at Crucible Studios

Stephanie Street's Sisters officially made its world premiere 16 March at the Crucible Studios. The show will play its final performance on 27 March 2010.

Crucible Studio's SISTERS Opens 3/16

As new Artistic Director Daniel Evans opens his inaugural production of An Enemy of the People on the Crucible main stage, the casting has been announced for Sisters and There's Only One Wayne Matthews. These two shows are to be performed in the newly refurbished Crucible Studio.

L.A.'s Classical Theater Ensemble, The Antaeus Company, announces that their critically-acclaimed (LA TIMES Critics' Choice, BACKSTAGE Critic's Pick) smash-hit production of their World Premiere adaptation of the literary classic, COUSIN BETTE, adapted by Jeffrey Hatcher from the novel by Honore de Balzac and directed by Jeanie Hackett, will be EXTENDING through Sunday, March 28th at Antaeus' interim home, Deaf West Theatre, located at 5112 Lankershim Blvd. in North Hollywood.

L.A.'s Classical Theater Ensemble, The Antaeus Company, presents the World Premiere of an exciting new adaptation of a literary classic, COUSIN BETTE, written by Jeffrey Hatcher and directed by Jeanie Hackett.  As the first production in Antaeus' first full season of plays, this world premiere begins previews January 23rd and opens on Saturday January 30th & Sunday January 31st and runs through March 21st at Antaeus' interim home, Deaf West Theatre, located at 5112 Lankershim Blvd. in North Hollywood.

This Much is True is a shocking, electrifying, insight into what really happened before and during the years following Jean Charles de Menezes's death. Weaving together new and personal testimonies from senior police officers including Andy Hayman (Metropolitan Police former head of counter terrorism), Brian Paddick, Jean's family, friends, and legal team (including Michael Mansfield QC), IPCC whistleblower Lana Vandenberghe, the Justice for Jean campaign and eye-witnesses, it brings the tragedy to the stage and reveals much that has never been said publicly before.

Theatre503 is set to present This Much is True, a new play by Paul Unwin and Sarah Beck. The show will feature direction by Tim Roseman, design by Paul Wills, lighting by Richard Howell, and original music by Daniel Pemberton.

Full Casting Announced For Stephens' PUNK ROCK At The Lyric Hammersmith

Olivier award-winning playwright Simon Stephens' powerful new play Punk Rock opens at the Lyric Hammersmith on 08 September 2009 with previews from 03 September 2009. Sarah Frankcom, the Co-Artistic Director of the Royal Exchange, Manchester will direct a talented, young cast which includes Nicholas Banks, Henry Lloyd Hughes, Harry McEntire, Jessica Raine, Tom Sturridge, Katie West and Sophie Wu.
