The next Summer Happening at the Broad will close out the 2018 season on September 29th. Picking up where the season opener A Journey That Wasn't, Part 1 left off, A Journey That Wasn't, Part 2 will continue to explore how artists manipulate time through memory, appropriation and repetition, themes examined by the museum's exhibition, A Journey That Wasn't.

Houston's award-winning 8-piece ensemble The Suffers, have announced their sophomore full-length album, Everything Here, which is set to release on July 13, 2018. Co-produced by The Suffers, Zeke Listenbee, and John Allen Stephens, the album includes special guests such as Bun B and Paul Wall, along with a duet featuring Lyle Divinsky (The Motet), and additional vocal production from Lili K (Chance The Rapper, Vic Mensa). On Today, Oct. 26, more than 2,000 music makers will visit their local legislator's office as part of The Recording Academy's annual GRAMMYs in My District event - music's largest grassroots movement. This advocacy initiative allows Recording Academy members to address important creators' rights issues directly with their respective members of Congress, from copyright review to the impact of digital services on music makers.
