Almost fifteen years ago, Ronnie Marmo pulled together a group of his most talented friends in Los Angeles and created The 68 Cent Crew Company, after having arrived here with 68 cents in his pocket and a head full of dreams. So, when a company member recently asked him what they could do about terrible current events, and about how our country is dealing with racism, perfect timing intervened the following morning when the play A TIME TO KILL came across his desk, and as the father of an 8- year-old child, Marmo knew he needed to present it.

The Defiant Thomas Brothers, currently bringing their uncanny ability to mine laughs all along the sensitivity spectrum with their no-limits comedy to Stage 773, 1225 W. Belmont, are thrilled to announce they have added performances through December 10. From roaming Chicago black box stages to quickly making headlines and garnering major attention in the sketch comedy world, winning the Best Sketch Group award at HBO's prestigious U.S. Comedy Arts Festival, the pair briefly parted ways but are now back and headlining events like the 2016 Out of Bounds Comedy Festival in Austin. Matthew Martin and Tim Realbuto, the writing team behind the Broadway-aimed GHOSTLIGHT, have teamed up again to write their first non-musical THE WEAK ONES.
Set to conclude it's strictly limited run this evening at The Hudson Guild Theatre in NYC, the production was helmed by Martin, with Realbuto (Alan in the pre-Broadway tryout of Grammy Award winner P!nk's new musical Mean) heading the cast as a lawyer who must defend a woman society has deemed a sociopath.
