The American Repertory Theater of WNY brings the bewitching timeless classic THE CRUCIBLE by America's Shakespeare, Arthur Miller. This legendary piece of the 1692 Salem witch trials will be presented on October 30th and runs Thursday through Saturday, 7:30 pm at ART in the Box, 16 Linwood Avenue, Buffalo NY 14219. All showtimes are 7:30 pm with ticket prices ranging from $25 general admission ($20 online), $18 student/military veteran ($15 online).

With Alan Cumming and Michelle Williams currently starring in the Roundabout Theatre Company's revival of 'Cabaret' on the Great White Way, Reel 13 broadcasts Bob Fosse's Oscar-winning movie version. The legendary Broadway director and choreographer brought him and star Liza Minnelli Academy Awards. In fact, the 1972 film still holds the record for most Oscar wins in a single year without winning the 'Best Picture' category, copping eight in all. (The Godfather received that prize.)

Fifteen plus years in the making, the NY premiere of Tina Packer's Women of Will, her groundbreaking exploration of Shakespeare's canon through the eyes of his female characters opens officially on Sunday, February 3, 2013, after having begun previews on January 29, at The Gym at Judson (243 Thompson Street, at Washington Square South) in Manhattan. Eric Tucker ('Saint Joan') directs. This production of Women of Will marks Ms. Packer's New York stage debut, both as an actress and a playwright. With The Suit, theater director Peter Brook-whose 1987 production of The Mahabharata inaugurated the BAM Majestic Theater (now the BAM Harvey Theater)-returns to BAM with Theatre des Bouffes du Nord to showcase his signature approach of innovative stage design and the integration of live music. Written by Can Themba, The Suit was adapted for the stage by Mothobi Mutloatse, and Barney Simon.
