A free screening of Folger Theatre's 2008 magical production of Macbeth will take place on Saturday, August 23 at 8:15pm at the Carter Barron Amphitheatre in Rock Creek Park. Directed by Teller (of Penn & Teller) and Aaron Posner and recorded before a rapt audience in the Folger's intimate Elizabethan Theatre, this "supernatural horror thriller" showcases the inventive magic of Teller and provides new insight into Shakespeare's classic tragedy.

Olney Theatre Center, a Maryland destination for professional theater performance and education, in conjunction with National Players, continues its critically-acclaimed 76th Anniversary season with The Tempest running July 15 - August 3, 2014 on the Root Family Stage.

MetroStage's UNDERNEATH THE LINTEL is brilliantly written and acted, and goes from a minor mystery -- return of a library book a century late -- to questions of major importance to the world.

But more than just a play about trying to bypass the Nazi regime and their cruelty, this play is about loss. Not just one loss, but continual and mounting loss. De Bonheur first loses his country, then his family of actors and finally bids farewell to his most abiding love-his art.

Now in its fourth year at Olney Theatre Center, Paul Morella's unique and memorable adaptation of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol: A Ghost Story of Christmas will run from November 29 through December 29, 2013 on the Mulitz-Gudelsky Theatre Lab stage.

Olney Theatre Center is pleased to announce it will kick off the National New Play Network (NNPN) Rolling World Premiere of Steven Dietz's Rancho Mirage. Written by one of America's most widely-produced playwrights (Yankee Tavern, Halcyon Days,Lonely Planet), Rancho Mirage will begin its Rolling World Premiere at Olney Theatre Center September 26 - October 20, 2013.

Signature in the Schools, the education program at Signature Theatre, presents the world-premiere production of Revolution, written by acclaimed writer/director Joe Calarco and directed by Education Director David Zobell.
