According to Showbiz411, Paul McCartney himself confirmed that his latest album will drop before the year is out.

Elvis Costello embarks on SOLO East Coast U.S. Tour with Philadelphia Stop at Merriam Theater on Sunday, November 10 at 8 p.m. Costello's performance includes new work from Wise Up Ghost (to be released September 17, Blue Note Records), the collaborative album of Costello and The Roots, produced by longtime Roots associate Steven Mandel along with Costello and ?uestlove. Tickets go on sale to the public Friday, August 9th at 10 a.m.

The Broadway at Birdland concert series welcomed Broadway's Clarke Thorell in Songs I Wish I'd Written for one night only, Monday, August 5 at 7pm. The concert featured songs by Harry Nilsson, Paul McCartney, Adam Guettel, Lambert, Hendricks & Ross, Elvis Costello, Chris Thile, and Sting. Joining Clarke were Musical Director/pianist Dan Lipton, along with singers Brian d'Arcy James, Cortes Alexander, Haven Burton and Jim Caruso. The Shakespeare Center of Los Angeles (SCLA) presents its 23rd Annual Simply Shakespeare benefit reading of 'The Two Gentlemen of Verona,' September 25, 2013 at The Broad Stage, Santa Monica. The evening will feature a star-studded cast including Sir Paul McCartney, Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson and William Shatner. Additional participants will be announced. West End transfer lets audiences relive the experience of attending Broadway's two previous Beatles cover band concerts.

The annual London theatre initiative Kids Week was launched today with a special performance at Shakespeare's Globe from a 100-strong children's show choir supported by cast members from top West End shows. The choir was made up of ordinary children crowdsourced especially for the free event led by music theatre company Starling Arts.
