92Y announces casting for a concert celebration of the acclaimed musical It Shoulda Been You on Monday, March 5.

Dear Edvard, a new music-theater piece, will make its New York premiere at National Sawdust on Sunday, December 10th, at 4pm. Directed by Kevin Newbury with music direction by Paul Masse, the musical explores the life and loves of Norwegian artist Edvard Munch (1863-1944).

It was a reunion for two of the lead actors from Broadway's On the Town when Tony-nominee Tony Yazbeck visited New Hope, PA to see Clyde Alves at Bucks County Playhouse. Alves plays the role of Tago in the world premiere of The New World , the musical comedy that is getting raves from critics. John Timpane of the Philadelphia Inquirer said With sneaky brilliance, beginning to end, The New World is fresh, funny, and fluid. According to an Equity casting notice, Hunter Foster will direct an upcoming staged reading of FAR FROM THE MADDING CROWD.  The project, which will be presented in November, will feature musical direction by Paul Masse.

This is the wonder of Kander and Ebb's masterpiece that is Cabaret, now brought to the Cape Playhouse in what can only be described, in the words of Fraulein Bowles, as 'perfectly marvelous,' although even that would be an understatement for such a show as this beautiful theater in the heart of Dennis Village now presents to a Cape Cod audience.

"Leave your troubles outside…" as Cabaret take the stage in its Cape Playhouse premiere, directed by Hunter Foster. With book by Joe Masteroff based on the play by John Van Druten and stories by Christopher Isherwood, music by John Kander, and lyrics by Fred Ebb, it runs August 9 - 20.  Press night is set for Tuesday, August 9 at 7:30 pm.
