The Cinema Audio Society has announced its nominees for the 49th Annual CAS Awards for Outstanding Achievement in Sound Mixing for 2012 in six categories.

Jason Wu has designed the Tourista Bag for the St. Regis Hotel & Resorts. The new getaway bag will be revealed on November 14th at the East 55th Street Manhattan hotel. Jason Wu will be in attendance along with St. Regis' global brand leader Paul James.
The off-Broadway production of Rent will close after the performance today, September 9, at New World Stages. The production will have played 32 previews and 450 performances. Rent, which is written by Jonathan Larson and directed by Michael Greif, opened at the theater on August 11, 2011. The Oregon Shakespeare Festival will produce the world premiere of All the Way, written by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Robert Schenkkan and directed by Bill Rauch, OSF artistic director. The production is the fourth commission fromAmerican Revolutions: the United States History Cycle to premiere at OSF and the second this season. All the Way is the third Robert Schenkkan play produced at OSF (Handler, 2002; By the Waters of Babylon, 2005).
