Last week, the acclaimed revival of The Normal Heart offered a special '30 for $30' night to help introduce Larry Kramer's powerful and important play to a new generation. Based on the success of the evening and the young people that filled the show's audience on May 26th, producer Daryl Roth announced today that the show will extend its '30 Under $30' discount for all Thursday performances in June (June 2, June 9, June 16, June 23, June 30).

Producer Daryl Roth announced today that casting has been completed for the premiere presentation of Larry Kramer's ground-breaking play, The Normal Heart, on Broadway. Mark Harelik (Mrs. Warren's Profession), Richard Topol (The Merchant of Venice), and Wayne Wilcox (Coram Boy) join the previously announced Ellen Barkin as Dr. Emma Brookner, Patrick Breen as Mickey Marcus, John Benjamin Hickey as Felix Turner, Luke Macfarlane as Craig Donner/Grady, Joe Mantello as Ned Weeks, Lee Pace as Bruce Niles, and Jim Parsons as Tommy Boatwright. Harelik will play the role of Ben Weeks, Topol will play Hiram Keebler/Examining Doctor, and Wilcox will play David. Joel Grey and George C. Wolfe will direct the presentation, which begins its limited 12-week engagement on Tuesday, April 19 at the Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street), with an official opening night set for Wednesday, April 27.

Producer Daryl Roth announced today that Patrick Breen (Next Fall) and Luke MacFarlane ('Brothers and Sisters') have joined the cast of the premiere presentation of Larry Kramer's ground-breaking play, The Normal Heart, on Broadway. Breen will play Mickey Marcus and MacFarlane will play the roles of Craig Donner and Grady. They join the previously announced Ellen Barkin as Dr. Emma Brookner, John Benjamin Hickey as Felix Turner, Joe Mantello as Ned Weeks, Lee Pace as Bruce Niles, and Jim Parsons as Tommy Boatwright. Michael Urie To Star in Reading of Brian Sloan's WTC VIEW 11/22 at Player's Theatre

Michael Urie ('Ugly Betty', 'The Tempermentals') is headlining a reading of Brian Sloan's 'WTC View' on November 22nd at the historic Player's Theatre in Greenwich Village. The play was originally staged as part of the 2003 NY Intl. Fringe Festival , with Urie originating the lead role. It was adapted into a 2006 film, directed by Sloan, a New York-based writer/filmmaker ('Boys Life', 'I Think I Do'). Now, the play is back on stage with its eye on a 2011 production in New York City for the 10th anniversary of 9/11.
