Guns N' Roses Will Officially Hit the Road for North American Summer Stadium Tour

 Following months of intense rumor, speculation and feverish excitement from rock music fans around the world,Guns N' Roses confirmed today they will embark on a massive North American summer stadium tour as founder Axl Rose and former members, Slash andDuff McKagan regroup for what will be one of the century's most anticipated musical events. The news follows their previously announced headlining dates at this year's Coachella Music & Arts Festival. The Not In This Lifetime Tour, produced and promoted exclusively by Live Nation, will see the iconic band headline stadium dates throughout the U.S. and Canada starting in Detroit at Ford Field on Thursday, June 23 and will include shows in New York City,San Francisco, Chicago, Toronto, Washington DC, Philadelphia and more. A full list of tour dates is below. In a special preview, Axl, Slash and Duff will return to the stage tonight at The Troubadour in Los Angeles where the band launched their ground-breaking career.

Broadway In Chicago has announced Cameron Mackintosh's spectacular new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA will make its highly anticipated return to Chicago at the Cadillac Palace Theatre (151 W. Randolph) for four weeks, December 14, 2016 through January 8, 2017. With newly reinvented staging and stunning scenic design, this new version of PHANTOM is performed by a cast and orchestra of 52, making this one of the largest productions on tour in North America.

BWW Review: PHANTOM OF THE OPERA Soars Into The Hippodrome

The tech and scale of this North American touring production of PHANTOM OF THE OPERA are, in a word, magnificent. It is a spectacle of spectacles, and set designer Paul Brown deserves his own ovation. The sound, brilliantly executed by the Hippodrome techs and cleverly imagined by designer Mick Potter, creates an immersive environment which gives the unseen title character location and substance.
