Thomas Hazelby, 10 years old from Doncaster, today (11 March 2015) joins the cast of Billy Elliot the Musical to play the title role. He becomes the fortieth boy to play the role in London, where in May the internationally award-winning musical celebrates its tenth anniversary. Also joining the cast today to play Billy's best friend Michael is 11 years old Nathan Jones from Prudhoe, Northumberland. Take a first look at the two (and more) in photos from the show below!

The upcoming Broadway production of the sold-out West End production of David Hare's Skylight, directed by Stephen Daldry, winner of the 2014 London Evening Standard Award for Revival of the Year, is set to begin performances Friday, March 13 at the John Golden Theatre. The production, which will star Carey Mulligan and Bill Nighy, and feature Matthew Beard, all recreating their acclaimed London performances, opens Thursday, April 2 for a strictly limited 13-week engagement. Joining Kristin Scott Thomas as The Queen in a new and updated version of Peter Morgan's The Audience are David Calder as Winston Churchill, Mark Dexter as David Cameron, Michael Gould as John Major, Gordon Kennedy as Gordon Brown, Sylvestra Le Touzel as Margaret Thatcher, David Robb as Anthony Eden and Nicholas Woodeson as Harold Wilson. David Peart plays the Equerry, Charlotte Moore will play Bobo MacDonald and Private Secretary, Marnie Brighton, Madeleine Jackson-Smith and Izzy Meikle-Small will alternate in the role of Young Elizabeth and Matt Plumb and Harry Feltham will play the footmen.

Mike Bartlett's critically acclaimed new play, King Charles III directed by Rupert Goold, is currently playing in the West End at the Wyndham's Theatre, and according to the New York Times, the show might soon travel across the pond. The NYT reports that producers Stuart Thompson and Sonia Friedman are looking to bring the play to Broadway in Fall 2015. Tim Pigott-Smith, who plays the title role in London is expected to reprise his performance.
