Kristin Scott Thomas plays the Queen in a new and updated version of Peter Morgan's The Audience. Stephen Daldry's production is now in previews at the Apollo Theatre, with press night tonight 5 May 2015 and booking to 25 July 2015. 

National Theatre Live has announced that Peter Morgan's The Audience, starring Academy Award winner Helen Mirren and directed by Stephen Daldry, will make a return to cinema screens around the world in select markets with encore screenings beginning Thursday, June 25. Peter Morgan's play THE AUDIENCE, which opened on Broadway on March 8th, has recouped the $3.4 million spent on production costs.

Carey Mulligan stopped by last night's TONIGHT SHOW to talk about cooking the classic dish, Spaghetti Bolognese from scratch on stage every night in her new Broadway play SKYLIGHT.

Just a reminder, Broadway's SKYLIGHT will take a week off of performances in April while cast members attend to prior commitments, the show's Telecharge listings confirm. The show will be dark from April 13-20.

A $37 rush ticket policy will be launched tomorrow, Friday, March 13th when Carey Mulligan and Bill Night reprise their critically acclaimed West End performances in the hit London production of David Hare's SKYLIGHT at the John Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street), directed by two-time Tony Award-winner Stephen Daldry. A limited number of rush tickets, for theatregoers aged 30 and under, will be available the day of the performance at the box office of the Golden Theatre. The $37 rush tickets will be limited to 2 per person with valid photo ID, and will be available when the box office opens.
