Jonathan Whitton (Bistro & MAC Award Winner, HEDWIG & THE ANGRY INCH) continues his critically lauded concert residency with guitarist AaRon Jones at Don't Tell Mama. BLACK SHEEP CARNIVAL. BLACK SHEEP CARNVAL will play the Brick Room at Don't Tell Mama every first Monday through 2013 with dates scheduled for today, July 8, August 5, September 2, October 7, November 4, & December 2. All performances are at 7:30PM. Tickets are $10 plus a two-drink minimum.

Pianist Simone Dinnerstein Joins LPR X 5

Pianist Simone Dinnerstein gained international success from her recording of Bach's Goldberg Variations, which ranked No. 1 on the US Billboard Classical Chart in its first week of sales. Released in 2007 on Telarc, it was named to many "Best of" lists including those of The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times, and The New Yorker. The first classical musician ever featured at (Le) Poisson Rouge(158 Bleecker Street), Ms. Dinnerstein returns as part of LPR X 5: A Celebration of LPR's Fifth Anniversary to perform the Goldberg Variations live on Sunday, June 9 at 7:30pm.

Patty Griffin Celebrates Seventh Album Release American Kid with 6/6 Kimmel Center Performance

In celebration of her seventh album release, American Kid, Patty Griffin makes debut performance at the Kimmel Center's Verizon Hall on Thursday, June 6 at 7:30 p.m. Griffin's singing is as extraordinary as her songwriting, with music steeped in Americana, love, sadness, apparitions, and salt-of-the-earth characters. Known for her remarkably powerful, personal, and unpredictable song style, Griffin wrote American Kid in honor of her father. Tickets go on sale to the public Friday, May 3 at 10 a.m.

After several years of being 'green' as Elphaba in the Los Angeles, San Francisco and Broadway productions of the hit musical WICKED, singer/actress Teal Wicks can now be seen touring the country in the new Broadway-bound revival of JEKYLL & HYDE: THE MUSICAL, in which she co-stars with Tony nominee Constantine Maroulis and Grammy nominated pop star Deborah Cox. The show will play a limited 3-week engagement at the Pantages Theatre in Hollywood from February 12 to March 3.
