Patty Griffin with special guest Scott Miller will perform tonight, October 15, 7:30 p.m. at the Kentucky Center's Brown Theatre.

Singer-songwriter Patty Griffin is known for her distinctively gritty vocals and heart wrenching lyrics. Inspired by evocative songsmiths like Bruce Springsteen and Rickie Lee Jones, Griffin has penned songs covered by well-known country artists including the Dixie Chicks, Miranda Lambert, and Martina McBride, while also recording her own albums and collaborating with Robert Plant.

The PASTE Magazine review of her 2013 release American Kid states "Patty Griffin has always written wonderful miniatures of people, moments, realizations. Taking emotional truths and cutting to the quick, her razor sharp sense of detail has never been sharper."

Scott Miller is known for his unique blend of the folk and rock musical genres. His unique talent for storytelling, mixed with his trademark compressed electric guitar, makes for a sound not heard since the likes of Wayne Newton or The Statler Brothers.

Tickets start at $30, reserved seating, fees apply. Kentucky Center Members call the Member hotline at 502-562-0144.
