This Thursday, August 21, 2014, Princeton Ballet School will host a special workshop led by notable alumna and Fulbright Scholar Casey Lee Thorne. Thorne graduated from Princeton Ballet School's Professional Training Program and is Founder and Artistic Director of Inside Out Contemporary Ballet (IOCB), a professional dance company based in Marin, California. She will lead a contemporary dance workshop for advanced dancers at Princeton Ballet School's studios in Princeton, NJ on August 21, 2014 from 11:45 am until 1:15 pm. The workshop is part of Thorne's choreographic project If I Were You - Project Israel, for which she recently received a Fulbright Scholarship.
American Repertory Ballet is pleased to announce the addition of Daphne Jones, Stephen Loughran, and Rachel Samoil to its Board of Trustees, effective immediately. They bring to the Board backgrounds in dance, music, science, and business in addition to personal connections with ARB and Princeton Ballet School.

She became an apprentice of the company in December of 2012, and joined New York City Ballet as a member of the corps de ballet in November of 2013.
American Repertory Ballet has named Vanessa Logan as its new Executive Director. Logan joins ARB from Boston Ballet, where she most recently served as Chief of Staff.

On June 23, 2014, many young dancers started summer dance programs with Princeton Ballet School at its Cranbury studio and on campus at Princeton University. These programs are known as Summer Intensive Intermediates and Summer Intensive Juniors. They are divisions of Princeton Ballet School's Summer Intensive, a nationally recognized program in its 32nd year.

This is Princeton Ballet School's 32nd year of offering their Summer Intensive course, making it one of the oldest programs in the United States.

The production featured dancers ranging in age from 5 years to adult, with the lead roles performed by members of American Repertory Ballet Workshop (ARBW), the pre-professional performance wing of Princeton Ballet School.

To commemorate 60 years of groundbreaking modern dance by a living legend, Paul Taylor has invited his alumni dancers to revive one his most profound works, From Sea to Shining Sea, at a special added performance on Sunday, March 23rd at 6:00 p.m. as part of the Paul Taylor Dance Company's three-week Season at Lincoln Center. Forty-six dancers have accepted Mr. Taylor's invitation to join members from the current Company.
