The 2015-2016 Roundabout Underground production is Ugly Lies the Bone, a new play by Lindsey Ferrentino, directed by Patricia McGregor.

For the past two years The Kilroys solicited nominations from over 300 theatre professionals, (primarily artistic directors and literary managers), for their favorite new plays by female-identified playwrights. In June they published The List -- the top 53 of these plays. In the same spirit of promoting opportunities for female and trans artists, Colt Coeur will produce four public readings of new plays by female-identified playwrights to coincide with the run of How to Live on Earth, by MJ Kaufman, who's play Sagitarrius Ponderosa was selected for The List this year.

Roundabout Theatre Company has announced that PS Classics will record the cast album of the critically acclaimed Broadway revival of ON THE TWENTIETH CENTURY on Monday, March 23, 2015. Roundabout Theatre Company has announced the next Roundabout Underground production, the world premiere of Ugly Lies the Bone, a new play by Lindsey Ferrentino, directed by Patricia McGregor. Ugly Lies the Bone, which was presented as part of last year's Underground Reading Series at Roundabout, is the first-ever recipient of a Special Citation of Excellence from The Laurents / Hatcher Foundation. The cast and creative team will be announced at a later date.
It is my great pleasure to announce that the ninth season of Roundabout Underground will begin with the world premiere of Ugly Lies the Bone by Lindsey Ferrentino, under the direction of Patricia McGregor. The production will begin previews on September 10, 2015 at the Black Box Theatre and marks the tenth premiere we've produced in that space. The play was first heard at Roundabout as part of the Underground Reading Series in February 2014.

Stagger Lee, which takes its title from the century-old folk song, is directed by Patricia McGregor with music by Will Power and Justin Ellington. Stagger Lee was partially developed in workshops in collaboration with the Meadows School of the Arts, Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas as a part of Will Powers' Meadows Prize residency. Stagger Lee begins previews tonight, January 21 with a Pay-What-You-Can performance and runs through Sunday, February 15.
