Tickets to GHOST THE MUSICAL's Run at Chicago's Oriental Theatre on Sale Tomorrow

Broadway In Chicago has announced that individual tickets for GHOST THE MUSICAL, based on the film by Bruce Joel Rubin and Paramount Pictures, go on-sale to the public starting this Friday, Nov. 8, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. The supernatural power of love is taking North America by storm as the new Broadway and West End musical GHOST THE MUSICAL, adapted from the Academy Award-winning film, will play Chicago's Oriental Theatre (24 West Randolph) for a limited two-week engagement from Jan. 7 - 19, 2014.

GHOST Offers Free Lotto Tickets for Final Performance

Saturday, August 18th is the last chance to see Ghost The Musical. As a special thank you to fans, producers announced today that all 24 lottery tickets located in the first and second rows of the Orchestra will be complimentary for the final performance on Broadway.

The producers of Ghost The Musical announced today that the show will play its final performance on Broadway on Saturday, August 18th at 8pm after 39 previews and 136 regular performances. Ghost The Musical opened on April 23, 2012 at Broadway's Lunt-Fontanne Theatre (205 West 46th Street), having begun previews on March 15th.

GHOST The Musical Offers $25 Lottery Tix!

Ghost The Musical announced today that a limited number of $25 tickets in the first and second rows of the Orchestra will be available through a lottery drawing for each performance beginning with the first preview on Thursday, March 15th. The lottery will open two and a half hours prior to each performance. The drawing will take place two hours prior to curtain giving all participants 30 minutes to enter the lottery. There is a limit of one entry per person, and two tickets per winner. Ghost The Musical lottery winners must be present at the time of the drawing and valid identification must be shown to purchase tickets. Only cash will be accepted to purchase lottery tickets. All winning entries will be checked for duplication and disqualified if more than one entry was submitted. Lottery tickets are subject to availability and will not be available on Ghost The Musical's Opening Night, April 23, 2012.

GHOST's Richard Fleeshman Says Broadway Production 'Even More Incredible'

At the Whats On Stage audience awards, Ghost the Musical's Richard Fleeshman just won 'Best Actor in a Musical' for Ghost. Talking to press after winning, Fleeshman talked about changes to the show that have been made for the currently rehearsing Broadway production, noting that 'We've made it more focused. Some of the illusions have gotten even more incredible and the cast is bigger. It's been very exciting.'

Ghost the Musical, beginning previews March 15th with the opening date set for April 23rd, is directed by Tony Award winner Matthew Warchus (God of Carnage, The Norman Conquests, Boeing-Boeing) and choreographed by Ashley Wallen (The X Factor, Kylie Minogue). Ghost The Musical is created by a team of Grammy and Academy Award winners, with a brand-new original score by Dave Stewart (half of the multi-Grammy Award winning Eurythmics) and Glen Ballard (Michael Jackson's Man In The Mirror, Alanis Morissette's Jagged Little Pill), with a book by Bruce Joel Rubin (Ghost, Jacob's Ladder, The Time Traveler's Wife), who has adapted his Academy Award winning original screenplay for the stage. This brand new score also includes the iconic song 'Unchained Melody,' famously performed in the film by The Righteous Brothers. In celebration, each customer who places an order at the box office on Monday will receive a copy of the London original cast album. In addition, the production has exclusively released 50 tickets for the opening night performance on Monday, April 23rd at 6:30pm. SPIDER-MAN Investor Sues Over Theatre License

According to the Hollywood Reporter, a SPIDER-MAN: TURN OFF THE DARK investor is suing the show for money that was used to license the Foxwoods Theatre. Patricia Lambrecht put $2.5 million into the show as collateral; so that 'even if the show never opened, the theater would be paid for restoration costs.'
