Spider-Man Reeve Carney will introduce the first song from the upcoming Broadway show on Good Morning America, September 10. Carney will perform the song, composed by Bono and The Edge at the Hudson Theatre in the Millennium Hotel. The performance will be broadcast live during the 8am-9am hour. To be a part of the live audience, fans are encouraged to arrive at the Hudson Theatre by 6:30am on September 10. The song title will not be released until its debut on Friday.

Lead producer Michael Cohl today announced the complete cast for SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark, which begins rehearsals this morning. Directed by Julie Taymor and featuring a book by Julie Taymor and Glen Berger, and new music and lyrics by Bono and The Edge, SPIDER-MAN Turn Off The Dark will begin previews at Broadway's Foxwoods Theatre (213 West 42nd Street) on November 14, with opening night set for December 21.

New York magazine caught up with Julie Taymor at the Monday, September 21st opening of the Metropolitan Opera season and the visionary director declared that SPIDERMAN, TURN OFF THE DARK is still set to swing to Broadway.

The New York Times is reporting that tickets for Spider-Man will go on sale on October 31, 2009.

This week's issue of Entertainment Weekly magazine checked in with the rep for Evan Rachel Wood, who previous rumors stated was let go as Mary Jane, along with other contracted performers from SPIDER-MAN when the show hit financial troubles.
