Sydney Theatre Company has released the judges' shortlist of five plays in the running for the 2014 Patrick White Playwrights' Award which will be announced with a rehearsed reading of the winning play at The Wharf on Friday 22 May 2015 at 8pm. Directed by Nadja Kostich, this acclaimed Swedish play for young adult audiences will have its Australian premiere on Thursday 16 April 2015 at Southbank Theatre, The Lawler, before touring to regional Victorian secondary schools, Geelong Performing Arts Centre and Launceston College in Tasmania.

Yana Alana and the Paranas in Concert, a cabaret production, was a close second for total awards with six out of eight cabaret awards.
