The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) today announced the nominees for the 37th Annual Daytime Entertainment Emmy Awards. Many of the major categories were announced this morning on 'CBS News' 'The Early Show,' by Bree Williamson (Jessica Brennan on 'One Life to Live,' ABC) and Travis Stork ('The Doctors,' Syndicated) including the naming of the Lifetime Achievement honoree, Agnes Nixon, the grand dame of Daytime serial drama.

Nine of America's smartest (and bravest) celebrities will face off in the 'Jeopardy!' Million Dollar Celebrity Invitational Tournament. The tournament semi-finals and final competition airs the week of May 3.

This morning the Daytime Emmy Nomination List was released.The 35th Annual 2008 Daytimes Emmy Awards will be held on Friday June 20th, 2008 at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles. ABC will be broadcasting the ceremony.
