As it stands now, the two-act piece with a plot that continually gets halted to present its collection of fifteen musical hits trudges along without much purpose.

SUSAN GORDON, who played DANNY KAYE'S young daughter in the well-loved 1959 film 'THE FIVE PENNIES' will attend the 2 PM matinee of 'DANNY AND SYLVIA: The Danny Kaye Musical', on WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 16TH and then join the musical's stars, BRIAN CHILDERS AND KIMBERLY FAYE GREENBERG, on stage for a chat and to recreate the musical counterpoint of 'Goodnight, Sleep Tight Medley' (Lullabye in Ragtime/The Five Pennies) from the film.
