The Theatre School at DePaul University Presents THE LADY FROM THE SEA

The Theatre School at DePaul University is pleased to present The Lady From the Sea as the first production of the season in the Sondra & Denis Healy Theatre at The Theatre School building, located at Racine and Fullerton on the Lincoln Park Campus. Henrik Ibsen's The Lady From the Sea is translated by Pam Gems and directed by Erin Kraft, MFA Directing candidate, Class of 2017. The production premieres on Friday, October 23, and runs through Sunday, November 1, 2015.

 The Theatre School at DePaul University's 2015-2016 season features two world premiere productions, reimagined classics, contemporary pieces, and engaging entertainment for the whole family.  Productions for the general public will continue for the third full season at The Theatre School's award-winning new facility in Lincoln Park, and Chicago Playworks for Families and Young Audiences will continue to welcome young people and their families to the historic Merle Reskin Theatre in the South Loop.

Sean Mathias Joins Creative Team of THE EXORCIST; Play Heading for Broadway?

BroadwayWorld has just learned that a stage version of The Exorcist is currently in the works, and Tony nominee Sean Mathias is on board to direct the project. The play, adapted by John Pielmeier, enjoyed a run at Los Angeles' Geffen Playhouse in 2012, starring Richard Chamberlain and Brooke Shields. Production details have not yet been announced.
