BWW Review: Huntington Theatre Company Extends New Comedy TIGER STYLE!
by Nancy Grossman
- Oct 31, 2016
Success in academia is not always transferable to personal or professional success upon leaving the halls of ivy. Playwright Mike Lew explores this phenomenon in his new comedy TIGER STYLE! The laughs come fast and furiously as siblings Albert and Jennifer Chen struggle to figure out who to blame for their recent failures as adults. From California to China, they try on different identities in an effort to find out where they belong. Think Dorothy Gale takes a newer, hipper journey.

by Pamela Roberts
- Sep 9, 2016
Who knew ecological adversity and failed policy could be so much fun? It's a grim world in Urinetown where a dire water shortage has made it a privilege to pee anywhere but the corporate amenities. Yet the zany humor and high energy of Constellation Theatre Company's URINETOWN (The Musical!) offers a hilarious lampoon of corporate greed, corrupt politics, and earnest populism complete with zingy songs and jazz hands.

BWW Review: EQUUS Chills as Constellation Theatre
by Emma Kouguell
- Jan 19, 2016
As a society, we often view extreme acts of 'passion,' whether it be motivated by anger, lust, or sadness, as negative, resulting in pain, or as something to be 'fixed.' Instead, we strive for normalcy and balance, obliterating any despair and following our established routine of life. What we often don't realize is that 'normal' can lead to an emptiness in connection, desire, and motivation that those who feel exceptional passion do not suffer. Is it possible for the 'normal' to make room for the extreme in their own lives?
