The Shane-Arts Theatrical Ensemble Repertory (SATER) continues their tradition of bringing an exciting premiere to the Fringe and local theater festivals. From their critically acclaimed and hit production of Matt & Ben during the first festival, Transposing Shakespeare in the second, the world premiere of Reason for Referral last year and they will not disappoint with their entry for 2009.

Three Programs at the Newark Public Library Explore the Life of Lorraine Hansberry and her Work A Raisin in the Sun. The Newark Public Library will explore the seminal work, A Raisin in the Sun by playwright Lorraine Hansberry through a series of programs over three days, which includes the screening of two movie versions of the play and a performance of Love to All, Lorraine.

2009 promises to be a historical and exciting year filled with lots of hope, change and community service. To encourage ever greater levels of service throughout the country, MySpace and Katalyst Media, a production company co-founded by Ashton Kutcher and Jason Goldberg, teamed up with celebrities to record their personal pledges of service.
