Vermont Theater Kids Have Many 2014 Summer Camp Options

There's still snow on the ground, but warm weather is coming faster than you think! The performing arts thrive during Vermont summers, and so do opportunities for kids to explore the world of theater. Here's a look at some of this summer's Vermont theater camps for kids and teens:

San Diego Ballet Presents THE MANY LOVES OF DON JUAN This Weekend

The San Diego Ballet Company (SDB), under the leadership of co-directors Robin Sherertz-Morgan and Javier Velasco, will present The Many Loves of Don Juan this weekend, February 21 & 23, 2014 at the Lyceum Theatre, Horton Plaza, San Diego.

San Diego Ballet Company Presents THE MANY LOVES OF DON JUAN, 2/21-23

The sultry, sensuous rhythms and melodies of Spain come together for this timeless parable of love and destiny directed and choreographed by award-winning artistic director, Javier Velasco, and featuring Maxim Tchernychev, formerly of the Bolshoi Ballet.

San Diego Ballet to Present PRELUDES & POETRY, CARNIVAL OF THE ANIMALS, 10/25-26

The San Diego Ballet (SDB) presents PRELUDES & POETRY & CARNIVAL OF THE ANIMALS, both by SDB's artistic director Javier Velasco. PRELUDES & POETRY will open on Friday, October 25th & 26th and CARNIVAL OF THE ANIMALS will perform on October 27th at the Lyceum Theatre in Horton Plaza, downtown San Diego.

Pacific Northwest Ballet Presents AIR TWYLA Tonight

Curtains up! AIR TWYLA propels Pacific Northwest Ballet into its new season with a trio of works by its first artist-in-residence, renowned choreographer Twyla Tharp. The program includes the world premiere of Waiting at the Station with a commissioned score by New Orleans music legend Allen Toussaint. Sharing the program with Waiting at the Station are the Scottish-inspired Brief Fling (a PNB premiere) and Tharp's homage to Ol' Blue Eyes and ballroom dance, the unforgettable Nine Sinatra Songs. AIR TWYLA runs for only seven performances, tonight, September 27 - October 6 at Seattle Center's Marion Oliver McCaw Hall.

Scottsdale Musical Theater Teams Up with Conservatory of Dance

Phoenix's Conservatory of Dance Studio (COD) will be Scottsdale Musical Theater Company's (SMTC) new home base for rehearsals and auditions. COD has a wonderful up to date modern facility with four studios that will allow SMTC to fully prepare for their shows in one central location.
