Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. (TBS, Inc.) has secured the network television premiere window for the #1 movie in the country, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug.

On the heels of its #1 openings around the globe, 'The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug' has surpassed $300 million at the worldwide box office after seven days in release. The film, a production of New Line Cinema and Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Pictures (MGM), has taken in an estimated $104.6 million domestically and $213.6 million internationally, for a worldwide estimated total to date of $318.2 million, including $23 million from IMAX theatres worldwide.

Popular screen performer and Broadway newcomer Orlando Bloom takes on the hallowed male title role in the most recent Broadway revival of William Shakespeare's classic romantic tragedy ROMEO & JULIET and the star opens up about his own romantic experiences and the play itself as part of a new interview.

Orlando Bloom stopped by this morning's TODAY on NBC to talk about reprising his role in the new Hobbit film and his recent experience making his Broadway debut in Romeo and Juliet.

The Pasadena Playhouse announced Academy Award and Emmy nominee Taraji P. Henson (Starred on "Person of Interest" on CBS, "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" and new "No Good Deed" oppsite Idris Elba) to star as "Jane" in the World Premiere of ABOVE THE FOLD, the fourth production of its 2013 - 2014 Season. Written by Bernard Weinraub and directed by Steven Robman, ABOVE THE FOLD plays January 28 - February 23, 2014. Opening night is February 2, 2014.
