Theatre for a New Audience has announced two post-show TFANA Talks surrounding performances of the Royal Lyceum Theatre Edinburgh's production of Macbeth (an undoing) written and directed by Zinnie Harris and presented by TFANA in association with Rose Theatre, London.

A charming adaptation of Herman Melville’s masterpiece, Sebastian Armesto’s Moby Dick mixes music and drama in an effective, atmospheric production that never gets lost at sea, no matter how daunting a task it is to stage the novel.

If there’s one thing, Dear Readers, that Disney is good at, it’s spectacle. But when you take that spectacle and combine it with one of their most musically magical properties such as “Aladdin”, it should end up with theatrical gold for the whole family. When the genie first poked his head from the lamp on stage back in 2011, I’ll admit it was less than magical. But, by the time it went to Broadway it grew by leaps and bounds. And even now, this tour currently playing at the Paramount, they seem to have updated some of their Disney Imagineering to make the experience even more magical and when combined with a killer cast, just hold on for a good time.

The Shakespeare performer has taken on another literary legend! Actor and director Kenneth Branagh will be voicing the famed writer Charles Dickens in an upcoming faith-based feature called The King of Kings. Alongside Branagh, Uma Thurman will voice Dickens' wife Catherine and Roman Griffin Davis, known for playing the title role in Jojo Rabbit, will voice their son Walter.

As many students of history know, 1929 was the beginning of a chaotic, and often tragic, decade for the United States. Seven months after a small stock market crash and recovery on March 25, the bottom fell out.

Jonathan Bailey, who will be playing the character of Fiyero in the two-part film adaptation of Wicked, has joined the third season of the Netflix series Heartstopper. He will be making a cameo appearance as Jack Maddox, an Instagram-famous classicist and celebrity crush of Charlie. The announcement also came with a brief behind-the-scenes look at Bailey in costume. Watch it here!

And if they come see RAIN - A Tribute to the Beatles presented by the Dr. Phillips Center, they might just succeed in that time travel. RAIN - A Tribute to the Beatles, a show that has been called 'the next best thing to seeing The Beatles,' boasts a repertoire of nearly 200 Beatles favorites, ranging from such beloved songs as 'I Want To Hold Your Hand' and 'Hey Jude' to classic hits including 'Revolution' and 'Come Together.'  Leading many of those familiar songs, in the iconic shoes of John Lennon is Steve Landes, and actor/singer/musician that has been performing Beatles-songs for most of his adult life and will be a part of the show when it arrives in Orlando. I had the privilege of speaking with Steve a number of years ago to learn a little more about his journey and our conversation still resonates today.
