In an exciting new engagement, THE X FACTOR is asking fans to be the fifth judge and allowing the at-home viewers' opinions to be heard in real time using special hashtags.

The world-famous Z100, New York's Hit Music Station, announced today the launch of Z100's fourth annual Hometown Hero competition presented by State Farm and powered by Eventful.

After the Four Chair Challenge round of THE X FACTOR, Simon Cowell, Demi Lovato, Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio each revealed the four acts in their categories that will continue in the competition and join them in the live shows.

When THE X FACTOR's nationwide auditions come to a close tonight (8:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) and Thursday, Sept. 26 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT), the judges – Simon Cowell, Demi Lovato, Kelly Rowland and Paulina Rubio – must choose the Top 40 acts.

The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) today announced the integration of streams to its historic Gold & Platinum (G&P) Program, the industry's premier award for recognizing artistic achievement in the marketplace. On-demand audio and/or video song streams will now be counted towards the 500,000 (Gold), 1,000,000 (Platinum) and 2,000,000 plus (multi-Platinum) thresholds required for G&P's Digital Single Award certification.

Eight remaining couples hit the dance floor and pay tribute to singer, songwriter and legend Stevie Wonder, MONDAY, APRIL 22 (8:00-10:01 p.m., ET). Stevie Wonder takes over the ballroom as "Dancing with the Stars" devotes, for the first time, an entire evening to one artist. He will perform some of his classic songs, including "Sir Duke" and "My Cherie Amour," and the celebrities will dance to his greatest hits, including "I Just Called to Say I Love You," "For Once in My Life" and "Signed, Sealed, Delivered (I'm Yours)." Special guest country superstar Hunter Hayes will perform with Stevie Wonder in a spectacular opening performance. The night will also showcase two team dances featuring the celebrities and their pro partners.

Ten musical acts earned first Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) digital award certifications in March, according to the RIAA's newest monthly Gold & Platinum Program tally.
