Atlantic Theater Company just presented their Annual Gala last night, March 7, at The Pierre (2 East 61 Street). Actors' Choice celebrated Atlantic's actors with a fabulous evening of unexpected songs, honoring David Richenthal and the Richenthal Foundation for their long-term support of Atlantic's mission. This year, Atlantic asked a slate of favorite Atlantic actors to choose a song they love and a favorite musician to perform it. Directed by Neil Pepe with musical direction by Matt Gallagher, Actors' Choice was an evening of unexpected songs and celebration. HBO Renews VINYL for Second Season

Following the critically acclaimed launch of the show's first season, HBO has renewed the drama series VINYL for a second season, it was announced today by Michael Lombardo, president, HBO Programming. Created by Mick Jagger & Martin Scorsese & Rich Cohen and Terence Winter, the show is a ride through the sex- and drug-addled music business of the early 1970s at the dawn of punk, disco and hip-hop.
