Justin Fletcher Joins THE RAILWAY CHILDREN, Aug. 31 - Oct. 30

BAFTA award-winning presenter, actor and voice-over artist, Justin Fletcher will transform from the much-loved children's character Mr Tumble into the equally loved Mr Perks for two months only, from 31 August to 30 October 2016. The Olivier Award-winning production of Mike Kenny's stage adaptation of E. Nesbit's novel The Railway Children - Live on Stage must end on 8 January 2017, following more than two glorious years at King's Cross Theatre, where it opened to critical and public acclaim on 14 January 2015, following previews from 16 December 2014.  

THE RAILWAY CHILDREN to Offer Relaxed Performance

?At 2.30pm on Wednesday 22 June, there will be a 'relaxed performance' of the Olivier Award-winning The Railway Children - Live on Stage at London's King's Cross Theatre. Relaxed performances are designed to benefit those with autism, sensory and communication disorders or a learning disability.

From tonight 27 April, Martin Barrass will return to the role of Mr Perks and Suzy Cooper has joined the cast as Mother in the Olivier Award-winning production of Mike Kenny's stage adaptation of E. Nesbit's novel The Railway Children - Live on Stage.

THE RAILWAY CHILDREN Announces Extension, Thru Jan. 8

Due to popular demand, the Olivier Award-winning production of Mike Kenny's stage adaptation of E. Nesbit's novel The Railway Children - Live on Stage will be extending its run at King's Cross Theatre until 8 January 2017, with tickets for the new booking period going on sale on Wednesday 20 April. To celebrate the extension, the producers are offering 5,000 seats at £10 for select performances, available in person at the Box Office or via the website.

Nesbit's novel The Railway Children begins performances tonight, Tuesday 16 December 2014 at 7.30pm, with the news that the booking period is being extended to 6 September 2015 at its new home, the King's Cross Theatre in London. The new booking period will open on Friday 19 December. There will be a press night on 14 January.

Jeremy Swift will play Mr Perks and Caroline Harker will be recreating the role of Mother in the Olivier Award-winning production of Mike Kenny's stage adaptation of E. There will be a press night on 14 January 2015 and the production is currently booking until 1 March 2015.

The Olivier Award-winning production of Mike Kenny's stage adaptation of E. Nesbit's novel The Railway Children will be returning to London on 16 December 2014, but moving to a new home, the King's Cross Theatre, where a purpose built 1,000-seat theatre, complete with a railway track and platforms, and with a state of the art heating system, will be specially created. The site, on King's Boulevard, behind King's Cross Station, has been loaned to the production for the duration of the run by Google, who own the land. The York Theatre Royal production, which is in association with the National Railway Museum, will once again feature a live 60-tonne steam locomotive and Gentleman's Carriage.

Mark Benton Joins The Railway Children at Waterloo
