Producer Mark Cortale, nationally known for bringing cutting edge comedy to Provincetown, has announced that he will present New York comedy trio Unitard in Provincetown with their acclaimed show 'House of Tards' for one show only - in what the troupe calls 'an evening of 'Dangerous Adult Comedy' - on August 9 at 9:30 PM.

Over 70 productions of local and international artists representing six continents - North America, South America, Europe, Australia, Africa and Asia -- will visit the stages of La MaMa during the 2016-17 season, the company's 55th year of presenting world-class experimental music, theater and dance, it has been announced by Mia Yoo, La MaMa's Artistic Director.

Mark Cortale, Producing Artistic Director of The Art House in Provincetown, MA, has announced that 6-time Tony winner Audra McDonald will return to Provincetown on August 21 for one show only, joined by husband and fellow-Broadway star Will Swenson.  Matthew Morrison star of "Glee" and "Finding Neverland" is also slated to join pianist & host Seth Rudetsky for the Broadway @ Town Hall series on August 7th.  The Art House's hotly anticipated 2016 summer season will also include artists like Vanessa Williams, Kristin Chenoweth, Patti LuPone, Cheyenne Jackson, the Indigo Girls, Megan Hilty, Judy Kuhn, Gavin Creel and Steve Grand, among others. This summer, the venue's marquee Broadway concert series will again encompass performances at both The Art House as well as Provincetown's Town Hall. Dixon Place announced the recipient of the 4th Annual 2016 Tom Murrin Performance Award, also known as "The Tommy." A transformative career opportunity for an emerging NYC-based artist or company, this year's award will be presented to Laurie Berg, known for her absurd, darkly humorous choreography and living collages. The 4th Annual Tommy Award presentation will take place at the Howl! Happening Gallery (6 East 1st Street) at 4pm as part of the Luna Macaroona Full Moon Performance Series. 'HOUSE OF TARDS' by the comic trio Unitard will play two more shows at Stonewall Inn on Thursday, May 21st and Thursday, May 28th at 8:00 pm. We interviewed Nora Burns, one of the performers and founding members of the group.

HOUSE OF TARDS has once again extended, and will now be performed on Thursday evenings at 8 pm through April 23rd.
