A.R.T. American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) will present The Gershwins' Porgy and Bess, opening the A.R.T.'s 2011-2 season on August 117 at the Loeb Drama Center. The Gershwin's Porgy and Bess, by George Gershwin, DuBose and Dorothy Heyward, and Ira Gershwin, is adapted by Suzan-Lori Parks and Diedre Murray, and directed by A.R.T. Artistic Director Diane Paulus.

Broadway Sessions in association with The Best Arts.com will present a cabaret showcase featuring Alums and the current graduating Musical Theater class of The Cincinnati Conservatory of Music on Thursday, April 14th.

This new production of PROMISES, PROMISES, directed and choreographed by Tony and Emmy Award winner Rob Ashford with Neil Simon's funny and touching book and Burt Bacharach and Hal David's hit-packed score, began previews at the Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway) Saturday, March 27, 2010, and opened on Sunday, April 25, 2010. Composer and Lyricist, Scott Alan, is currently in the studio recording his third CD, ‘What I Wanna Be When I Grow Up.' An expected release date is November 15th, 2010.

The producers of the musical comedy PROMISES, PROMISES are proud to announce that student rush tickets will be available for the first ever Broadway revival. A limited number of $30 student rush tickets will be available day of performance when the Broadway Theater (1681 Broadway) box office opens, subject to availability. Students can purchase up to two $30 tickets with a valid student ID.
