New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW)'s 2014 Spring Gala honored Tony Award-winning director Des McAnuff and President of The Dodgers Michael David on Monday night, May 12, at The Grand Ballroom of The Plaza Hotel. Both are founding partners of Dodger Properties, which is responsible for over 150 productions of some of the most successful theatre on Broadway (56 Tony Awards), Off-Broadway and internationally. Back by popular demand, THE BOOK OF MORMON, which played a record breaking two week run in 2013, returns for a limited engagement. Seattle Theatre Group announced today that single tickets will go on sale Monday, May 19 at 10 am. Tickets will be available on-line at stgpresents.org and tickets.com. Tickets are also available by calling 877-STG-4TIX (784-4849) or in person at The Paramount Theatre Box Office (Monday through Friday, 10am to 6pm).Group orders of 15 or more may be placed by calling 888-214-6856.

The production will conduct a pre-show lottery at the Segerstrom Hall box office, making a limited number of tickets available for $25 each.

Both are founding partners of Dodger Properties, which is responsible for over 150 productions of some of the most successful theatre on Broadway (56 Tony Awards), Off-Broadway and internationally. The gala will take place on Monday, May 12 at The Grand Ballroom of The Plaza Hotel, beginning at 6:30pm.
THE BOOK OF MORMON Announces Lottery Ticket Policy for Ohio Theatre Run

The Book of Mormon, winner of nine Tony Awards including Best Musical, is pleased to announce a lottery ticket policy for the national tour, which begins May 13 at the Ohio Theatre and plays a limited two-week engagement through May 25. The wildly popular lottery for the Broadway production has attracted as many as 800 entries at some performances. The producers of The Book of Mormon are pleased to offer low-priced lottery seats for every city on the national tour.

THE BOOK OF MORMON is part of the Taco/The White Family Foundation Broadway Series. In Providence, the production will conduct a pre-show lottery at the PPAC Box Office (220 Weybosset Street in downtown Providence), making a limited number of tickets available at $25 apiece.

CAP21 Receives Grant from National Endowment for the Arts

National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) Acting Chairman Joan Shigekawa announced today that Collaborative Arts Project 21 (CAP21) is one of 886 nonprofit organizations nationwide to receive an NEA Art Works grant. CAP21 is recommended for a $10,000 grant to support CAP21's New Artist and New Works Development Program.
