When I asked my son what part of THE WIZARD OF OZ he liked the best he said: 'All of it.' So, I pressed him a little further, and asked who his favorite character was, and he said: 'The Wicked Witch.' I can only say that I wasn't surprised by his answers, but I was surprised by his stamina, as he sat riveted by the action taking place on stage for 2 and 1/2 hours. The touring company at the Fox Theatre this weekend (November 26-28) has conjured up a solid and engaging effort that's greatly enhanced by some memorable special effects wizardry that's particularly effective during the twister sequence.

Desde el 12 de Agosto y hasta el próximo 5 de Septiembre, el Teatro Arriaga de Bilbao acoge el comienzo de la gira de Chicago que pasará por 35 ciudades durante 1 año. Marta Ribera, María Blanco y Carlos Lozano estuvieron presentes en la rueda de prensa y BroadwayWorld te trae un resumen de este encuentro con los medios.

Ya está todo listo para el gran estreno hoy en el Teatro Arriaga de Bilbao de Chicago, el musical. La capital vasca es la primera parada de la gira de esta producción que tanto éxito cosechó en Madrid la pasada temporada, y que durante un año recorrerá numerosas ciudades del territorio español.

El próximo 18 de Julio Chicago se despedirá de la Gran Vía para iniciar una gira por todo el territorio español. Y para ello contará con nuevos protagonistas, que ya han sido presentados ante la prensa: el popular actor y presentador Carlos Lozano será el carismático abogado Billy Flynn, Marta Ribera será la atrevida y sensual Velma Kelly, y María Blanco será la pícara y ambiciosa Roxie Hart.
