Annual Lincoln Center Festival to Feature Bill T. Jones, von Hove et al., 7/7-7/25

Nigel Redden, Director of the Lincoln Center Festival, which runs from July 7 through July 25, 2010, today announced the Festival's line-up, which includes ten North American, U.S., and New York premieres, and debuts. The Festival will unfold in seven venues on and off the Lincoln Center campus, including two major theater events on Governors Island-the North American premiere of Peter Stein's 12-hour marathon production of Dostoyevsky's The Demons (also known as The Possessed) and the North American premiere of Toneelgroep Amsterdam's production of Pier Paolo Pasolini's searing Teorema, adapted and staged by Ivo van Hove.

The Royal Shakespeare Company Comes To Lincoln Center Festival 2011

Lincoln Center Festival and Park Avenue Armory, in association with The Ohio State University will bring the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) to New York in July and August 2011 for an unprecedented six-week residency. The joint announcement was made today by Nigel Redden, Director, Lincoln Center Festival; Rebecca Robertson, President and CEO, Park Avenue Armory; and Michael Boyd, Artistic Director of the RSC.

2011 Lincoln Center Festival to Feature the Royal Shakespeare Company

Lincoln Center Festival and Park Avenue Armory, in association with The Ohio State University will bring the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) to New York in July and August 2011 for an unprecedented six-week residency. Lincoln Center Festival 09 Line-up Announced, Runs 7/7-7/26

Nigel Redden, Festival Director, today announced the presentations for Lincoln Center Festival 09, which runs from July 7 through July 26, 2009 and offers 56 performances by artists and ensembles from 14 countries. The three-week Lincoln Center Festival 09-boasting 14 North American, U.S., and New York premieres and debuts-will unfold in six venues on and off the Lincoln Center campus, including Alice Tully Hall, where dance will be presented, and Park Avenue Armory, where the Festival returns for a second summer. Tickets will go on sale for all events on March 13.

Lincoln Center Announces Fiennes, Cumming and Others

Nigel Redden, Festival Director, today announced the presentations for Lincoln Center Festival 08. The Festival opens on July 2 with The National Theatre of Scotland's acclaimed production of Euripides' The Bacchae starring Alan Cumming as Dionysus and ends July 27 with the Gate | Beckett marathon of Beckett dramas performed by Ralph Fiennes, Barry McGovern, and Liam Neeson. In all, there will be 57 Festival performances and events by artists and ensembles from nine countries, with three premieres. Tickets go on sale Friday, March 28 for all events.

Lincoln Center Festival 2007 to Include Glass, Wilson

The complete schedule for Lincoln Center Festival 2007, which will run July 10-29 and include 93 performances and events by artists and ensembles from 14 countries, has been announced.
