Interscope Records has announced that it has signed Season 10 American Idol contestant Pia Toscano to a recording contract and will release her debut single, 'This Time,' via all digital retailers on July 12th.

FOX has set the fall premiere dates for its new and returning series. The 2011-2012 season will kick off with the biggest night in television, the 63RD PRIMETIME EMMY AWARDS, airing live in all time zones on Sunday, Sept. 18 (8:00-11:00 PM ET / 5:00-8:00 PM PT) on FOX.

Paula Abdul and Simon Cowell will be reunited as judges on 'The X Factor,' according to The Hollywood Reporter. Abdul has finally finished the deal which will have her join previously announced judges Cheryl Cole and Antonio 'L.A.' Reid on the show. 'The X-Factor' will begin taping the judges rounds today in Los Angeles and the show will debut on Fox in September.
