Donna Vivino will join the cast of the smash hit Broadway musical MARTIN SHORT: FAME BECOMES ME beginning Tuesday, October 3. Ms. Vivino replaces Nicole Parker who will return to her role on Fox's 'Mad TV.'

On September 28th at Joe's Pub, Steve Rosen (Monty Python's Spamalot), Sarah Saltzberg (25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), and David Rossmer (Fiddler on the Roof), in conjunction with Joe's Pub, will present the third installment of 'Don't Quit Your Night Job,' a new monthly comedy benefit featuring a revolving cast of Broadway and Off Broadway's brightest stars performing without a net.

Fame is such a fleeting thing, unless of course you're Martin Short! Short has been making people laugh for over 30 years, and the opening Thursday night (June 15th) of his show FAME BECOMES ME finds him in top form. Though the performance could use a bit of tightening in the first half, it delivers the goods making for an entertaining albeit lightweight evening of theatre. * * * 1/2 (out of 5)
