theatreWashington & Signature Theatre to Present SUMMER HUMMER IV: FOREPLAY, 8/17

theatreWashington and Signature Theatre are proud to announce the return of Summer Hummer, a burlesque-style fundraiser featuring some of DC's best and hottest performers. Summer Hummer IV: Foreplay will be held Monday, August 17 at Signature Theatre with two exclusive one-night-only performances at 7:30 PM and 9:30 PM. Tickets are $35 for General Admission or $100 for the VIP reserved section and are now on sale at SigTheatre.org or by calling 703 820 9771.

Kate Rockwell & Nicholas Rodriguez to Star in BEAUTY AND THE BEAST at the Muny

The Muny announced today the cast for its production of Disney's Beauty and the Beast (July 29 - August 7). With music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Tim Rice, and book by Linda Woolverton, this beloved family classic is directed by Matt Lenz, choreographed by Vince Pesce and music directed by Ben Whiteley.

Emmy Winner Michael Learned to Star in ZACH Theatre's MOTHERS AND SONS

ZACH Theatre announces that Emmy Award-winning actress Michael Learned, best known for playing the mother on The Waltons TV show, will join Martin Burke, Nicholas Rodriguez, and William May in the upcoming production of Mothers And Sons the touching new family drama by four-time Tony Award-winner and native Texan Terrence McNally. Mothers and Sons will play at ZACH's Topfer Theatre from May 27, 2015 - June 21, 2015 under the direction of ZACH's Producing Artistic Director Dave Steakley.

The Broadway Dreams Foundation (BDF) will give aspiring performers across the country their "big break" when the program embarks on Generation: The 2015 Summer Intensive Tour.
