TV NYMF Preview: THE TENTH FLOOR

Locked inside the Tenth Floor, the Miami-Dade Correctional Facility's juvenile division, 16-year-old Victor Alvarez escapes into fantasy to escape the harsh realities of prison and his home life. Fueled by a contemporary rock, hip hop, and salsa-influenced score, this high-energy musical follows Victor as he struggles to come to terms with both the truth of his present and the ramifications of his past.

TV NYMF Preview: THE HISTORY OF WAR

The History Of War is spun from the imagination of a 12 year old boy - a megalomaniac in training. As he struggles with homework assignments and peculiar visions, he conjures up seven of the most famous tyrants of all time. They did horrible things. He wants to do horrible things. His parents are worried. ...and everybody sings! ... well, almost everybody. Reality and pathology neatly converge in this terrifyingly subversive new musical.

ABOVE HELLS KITCHEN Plays NYMF At TBG Theatre 10/4-17

The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) and La Vie Productions present ABOVE HELL'S KITCHEN. Performances will take place from October 4th, 2010 through October 17th at TBG Theatre - 312 West 36th Street 3rd Floor New York, NY 10018. Official Opening is set for Monday, October 4th, 2010 at 8:00pm.

NYMF and Center Stage Theatre Present BEAUTYFULL, 10/2 & 10/3

The New York Musical Theatre Festival and Center Stage Theatre are please to announce BEAUTYFULL, an original musical written by Jill Jaysen with music and lyrics by Mark Shepard as part of the 2010 Festival. BEAUTYFULL will be performed first on Saturday, October 2nd at 1:00pm and 5:00pm at The Seabury Center, 45 Church Lane in Downtown Westport. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased by emailing Beautyfulltickets@gmail.com. For NYMF, performances are Sunday, October 3rd at 1:00 and 4:30pm at the Duke Theatre located at 229 West 42nd Street between 7th and 8th Avenue.
