The New York Musical Theatre Festival and Center Stage Theatre are please to announce BEAUTYFULL, an original musical written by Jill Jaysen with music and lyrics by Mark Shepard as part of the 2010 Festival. BEAUTYFULL will be performed first on Saturday, October 2nd at 1:00pm and 5:00pm at The Seabury Center, 45 Church Lane in Downtown Westport. Cited by the Los Angeles Times as 'better than any textbook,' Water and Power is an industrial strength musical about the 1830s labor movement performed by thirty students from the LA-based Marquez Charter Elementary School. These 4th-6th graders will perform the 90-minute work as both their New York debut and their homework assignment.
