On Sunday, November 6, stage and screen producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron were honored at the Eighth Annual New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) Gala by some of their most famed stars including Daniel Radcliffe - of the pair's hit revival of How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying - and the company of the upcoming NBC series Smash, including Debra Messing, Angelica Houston, Megan Hilty, Christian Borle, Jack Davenport, Raza Jaffrey, Michael Mayer, Theresa Rebeck and more.

Daniel Radcliffe and the stars of Smash were on hand last night, November 6, at the Eighth Annual New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) gala to honor Neil Meron and Craig Zadan for their work in bringing musical theatre to a worldwide, pop-culture audience. Meron and Zadan are represented on Broadway with How to Succeed In Business Without Really Trying and are currently producing the new NBC television drama Smash about the behind-the-scenes creation of a Broadway musical. The New York Musical Theatre Festival (NYMF) has announced the winners of the NYMF 2011 Awards for Excellence. Awards will be presented at the Eight Season Awards Gala taking place on Sunday, November 6th at The Hudson Theatre (145 W. 44th Street) beginning at 6:00pm. As previously announced, producers Neil Meron and Craig Zadan will also be honored for their work in bringing musical theatre to a worldwide, pop-culture audience.

GAY BRIDE OF FRANKENSTEIN Aims for 10/31 Opening

Noted entertainment attorney Eric S. Goldman will produce Gay Bride of Frankenstein Off-Broadway in the 2011-2012 season. Written by Dane E. Leeman (book) & Billy Butler (book, music & lyrics), Gay Bride of Frankenstein is a pop/rock, fairy tale musical that follows the exploits of four high school friends on one fateful Halloween night at a very unconventional Monsters Ball. It's John Hughes meets Scooby-Doo, and asks the age old question: 'Will the girl get the girl?'

FST Presents NEXT TO NORMAL 11/2-1/7/2012

A talented cast, led by Broadway star STACIA FERNANDEZ, is preparing for the opening of the contemporary rock musical Next to Normal at Florida Studio Theatre. Performances begin in the Keating Theatre November 2 - January 7.

Tovah Feldshuh Headlines GYPSY at Bristol Riverside Theatre, 12/6-1/15

Powerhouse Broadway veteran Tovah Feldshuh stars in Gypsy at Bristol Riverside Theatre as part of its 25th Anniversary Season on December 6-January 15. With music by Jule Styne, lyrics by Stephen Sondheim and book by Arthur Laurents, the production is directed by Keith Baker and also features Robert Newman, Amanda Rose, Brittney Lee Hamilton, Joe Grandy, Bethe B. Austin, Kathryn Kendall, and Demetria Joyce Bailey.
