DiVita, Foote & Plachy Complete THE MYSTERY OF EDWIN DROOD Cast; Full Cast Announced

Roundabout Theatre Company has just announced the full cast for the new Broadway production of Rupert Holmes' Tony Award® winning musical comedy The Mystery of Edwin Drood. The Mystery Of Edwin Drood will star Stephanie J. Block (Edwin Drood), Will Chase (John Jasper), Gregg Edelman (Reverend Mr. Crisparkle), Jim Norton (Chairman) and Chita Rivera (Princess Puffer) with Andy Karl (Neville Landless), Jessie Mueller (Helena Landless), Betsy Wolfe (Rosa Bud), Nicholas Barasch (Deputy), Peter Benson (Bazzard), Robert Creighton (Durdles), Alison Cimmet, Nick Corley, Janine DiVita, Jenifer Foote, Justin Greer, Shannon Lewis, Spencer Plachy, Kiira Schmidt, Eric Sciotto, Jim Walton, Cody Williams.

John Neville Memorial Set for Today, July 15

A celebration of the life of John Neville will be held in Stratford today, July 15. Mr. Neville, who was Artistic Director of the Stratford Shakespeare Festival from 1986 to 1989, died on November 19. He was 86.

Michael Riedel reports in today's The New York Post that 'It appears that Jujamcyn's got "Kinky Boots" and will put it in the Al Hirschfeld Theatre next spring following an out-of-town tryout in Chicago in the fall. Jujamcyn's co-producer will be Hal Luftig, who's on a roll with the hit revival of Evita.'

As BroadwayWorld previously announced, Matthew Lewis, best known for playing Neville Longbottom in the Harry Potter film series, will make his West End debut this autumn when he joins Cian Barry, Arthur Darvill and Laurence Fox in the cast of Our Boys at the Duchess Theatre (previews from 26 September). Now Jolyon Coy and Lewis Reeves have also joined the cast, according to the show's official website.

First Run Theatre, a professional company dedicated to presenting world premiere productions of unpublished plays by local-area playwrights, opens its tenth season with "Brooklyn Bagatelle," a two-act "Dramedy" by Neville Mur. Jonathan Lewis' OUR BOYS opens for a limited 12-week season at the Duchess Theatre on Wednesday 3 October, with previews from Wednesday 26 September. The production features Arthur Darvill (best known for his role as Rory in Doctor Who) and Laurence Fox (who played James in Lewis); today, the Daily Mail reports that Matthew Lewis, most recognizable for his role in the HARRY POTTER series of films, has joined the cast.
