Photo Flash: First Look at Music Theatre Wichita's 42ND STREET

Music Theatre Wichita's 43 summer season comes to a conclusion with "42nd Street," directed and choreographed by original cast member Jon Engstrom, and featuring Damon Kirsche as Julian Marsh, Tracy Lore as Dorothy Brock, Tessa Grady as Peggy Sawyer, and Shonn Wiley as Billy Lawlor. Patty Reeder appears as Maggie Jones, partnered by Robert Ariza as Bert Barry, with Timothy W. Robu as Abner Dillon and Ryan Vasquez as Pat Denning. Tapping their way into several major numbers are Amy Baker Schwiethale as "Anytime" Annie, Jacob Chancellor as dance director Andy Lee, Katie Wesler as Phyllis, Becca Petersen as Lorraine, and Emily Pirtleas Diane.

Ali Ewoldt Shares Journal Entries with CNN Money

Broadway actress Ali Ewoldt, who starred as the orphaned Cosette in the 2006 Broadway revival of 'Les Miserables' and as The Girl (Luisa) in the Off-Broadway production of 'The Fantasticks' last year, shared her journal entries, which recount her day at Music Theatre Wichita in Kansas, with CNN Money's Blake Ellis. Alan Gilbert Conducts 2014 New York Philharmonic CONCERTS IN THE PARK, Now thru 7/15

The 2014 New York Philharmonic Concerts in the Parks, presented by Didi and Oscar Schafer, will return for the 49th season with five free outdoor concerts, conducted by Music Director Alan Gilbert, in Prospect Park, Brooklyn (today, July 9); Cunningham Park, Queens (July 10); the Great Lawn in Central Park, Manhattan (July 11 and 14); and Van Cortlandt Park, Bronx (July 15). In addition, New York Philharmonic musicians will perform a Free Indoor Concert at the Center for the Arts, College of Staten Island, CUNY (July 13).
